Pratapgarh district, lies between 25°34' and 26° 11' latitudes while between 81°S19' and 82°27' longitudes. Primarily, an agragrian district, for a while now, Pratapgarh has risen in ranks as the top producer of Aonla fruit. Infrastructure
The KVK has well maintain administrative building, functional soil and water testing laboratory, Bio-agent production unit, vermi-compost unit, home science lab. As per ICAR norms the KVK has six staff quarters, farmer’s hostel and well developed agro-technological park. KVK has 9.2 ha. Total land out of which 5.5 ha area under cultivation at the KVK farm is mainly being utilized for seed production, commercial purpose and demonstration.
